Baby Number 25 :)

Good day! :) Me again here with another little update...
Where do I begin? I guess it's been a pretty normal week- Assignment, shifts, eat, sleep, talk, skype, e-mail etc etc! :D Well, maybe a few things different happened. Tuesday we wrote another exam! Glad that's behind my back- we'll lets hope it is anyways! :) No results yet...
Friday I took my continuity patient to a christian orphanage that takes care of adopting babies... It was rough, but she so well, and the people at the orphanage where so great! It was such a hard thing to do, and my heart felt so heavy! I can't imagine...
Today was a good day! I went to my church this morning, and I hadn't been there for a little while with having to work some Sundays at the clinic as well as visiting some other churches. It was good to see everyone! :) I came back at noon pretty tired... It's been very hot the few days, so the heat has promptly waken me up nice and early every morning no matter what time I got to bed... So I sneaked into the aircon room with one of girls from night shift who was still sleeping (we're only aloud to turn on the aircon for night shifters), and had a nice long nap. I had a baby check though that I missed because nobody knew where I was...:S ooops!
When I got up at 2pm I got a phone call at 2:30 informing me that one of my continuities was in active labor at the clinic! I had just done one of her prenatals on Thursday, and when I discovered that this would be her 9th baby (not including a miscarriage), I had to put my name on her chart!! :D :D
So I jumped into scrubs and flew over to the clinic and delivered her baby an hour later! It was a beautiful birth- my 25th delivery!! :) The 3rd oldest girl in the family was there- so special to watch how excited she was with her new little sister! I managed to get most of the stuff done after birth in a few hours and endorsed her to the girls on shift now... And now I'm sitting here writing this... :) In a few hours I'll be going back for night shift! - lucky I had a nap! :)
